Independent developer Feingeist Software GmbH has announced the release of their Shimo 4 VPN Client for the Mac. Shimo 4 is the result of three years of development and user feedback.

Shimo 4 offers support for every VPN protocol currently available, allowing for ease of use due to its flexibility. Shimo 4 integrates seamlessly with both OS X Yosemite, and the soon to be released OS X El Capitan. Users can connect and disconnect, access statistics and information directly from the drop down menu bar on OS X.

Shimo 4’s integrated accounting provides detailed time-tracking, curating an informative overview at the end of each billing cycle. Shimo also allows users to create deployment packages that can easily be disseminated to selected users for immediate usage.
